THE DANG / FIELD NOTES

What to include in an account enquiry

Separate your essential requirements from optional extras.

Start with the essentials

Name the game, platform and region. Then identify the progress that matters: level, rank, quests, unlocks or another measurable feature. A long list becomes more useful when you label the must-haves.

Describe the budget

A budget range gives the team context without implying that matching stock exists. If you are flexible on an unlock but not the region, make that trade-off explicit.

Discuss the risks

Ask about ownership history, transfer limitations and the terms of any offered support. Account transfers can breach publisher rules and are not risk-free. An attractive list of features does not remove those concerns.

Keep credentials out of the brief

An enquiry should describe the account you want. It should not contain your existing account password, recovery information or identity documents. Review the specific proposal before proceeding.
