Write “I have OSRS GP and want RS3 GP” or the reverse. Include the quantity and game editions on both sides. Avoid sending only a ratio such as 1:10: without a direction and unit, the meaning is ambiguous. A clear brief reduces the chance of comparing opposite offers.
Compare net amounts, not just a ratio
Ask how much you would give and how much you would receive after any fees or deductions. Confirm how long a quote remains valid and whether there are minimum amounts. Do not reuse a historic ratio as a current rate. A proposal for one direction should not be assumed to reverse on the same terms.
Understand the limits of a quote
